Severe Symptoms Call 911, or Go to the nearest Emergency Room if you have the following symptoms...
- Difficulty breathing / shortness of breath when doing very little or resting
- Continuous/severe vomiting or severe diarrhea with signs of dehydration such as dry tongue,
- Dry mouth, decreased urination (no urine for the past 6-8 hours), or very yellow/orange urine
- Stiff neck, sensitive to light
- Seizures or convulsions
- Confusion or disorientation
The temporary NHS Flu Assessment Centre closed Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.
Between November 2 and 15, the Flu Assessment Centre at the Ontario Street Site in St. Catharines treated a total of 437 patients, helping to take some of the pressure off the ERs and Urgent Care Centres by redirecting patients with mild flu symptoms to the centre.
