Chemotherapy safety at home

Chemotherapy drugs are made to destroy or alter cancer cells, but they can affect other cells. If you are taking chemotherapy at home by pills or through your PICC line, your family and caregivers need to know how to handle these medications safely. There are also a few tips about handling body fluids after you have received treatment either at home or at the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
