Recreational Therapy
Recreation Therapy is offered to NHS patients across all sites in Complex Continuing Care, Geriatric Assessment Unit, inpatient Rehab and Mental Health and Addictions. Therapeutic Recreation facilitates the development, maintenance and expression of an appropriate leisure lifestyle for individuals with physical, cognitive, social or emotional limitations as well as to assist individuals to identify and eliminate their personal barriers to leisure.
