Nick Dawson is a Small Business Advisor with Scotiabank supporting their three Welland branches. He has over 15 years experience providing financial services to organizations of all sizes throughout Canada and the United States.
In 2003, Nick and his wife Shelley moved to Wellandport where they currently reside. They have two children – Douglas who is with the Canadian Armed forces based out of Edmonton and Lynda who holds a marketing position with an Oakville based company.
Nick's passions include camping, music and college football. He is involved in various local non-profit organizations and welcomes the opportunity to support local health care through the Welland Hospital Foundation
Astrid Goodman was raised in rural Pelham, attended Brock University and now has a financial consulting practice located at the offices of Ironwood Wealth Management Group in Fonthill.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, the opera and cooking. Astrid is also a private pilot and relaxes by playing the piano.
As a lifelong resident of the region, Astrid has an appreciation of the importance of our community hospitals, and through personal experience has great respect for the doctors, nurses and staff of the Welland Hospital.
By lending her expertise to the Foundation, Astrid hopes to not only support the hospital – with its vital role in our community – but also to make a difference in the lives of the people who require its services, which are made possible in great measure by the generosity of people who donate to the foundation.
Roman Groch is a Certified Financial Planner with Dundee Private Investors Inc. as well as an Insurance Advisor with Dundee Insurance Agency Ltd. in Welland. He also earned the Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) designation. Roman is a member of the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners (CIFP) and a past president of the Rotary Club of Welland. He loves electronics, golf, curling and is a member of the YMCA. He lives in Welland with his wife Anna and their daughters, Anastasia and Oksana.
Kelly Madien has been married to Roweena for over 10 years with three young children (Talia 9, Brice 7, Nia 5). His family moved to Welland three years ago, when he accepted the position with Desjardins Caisse populaire Welland as their Financial Planner.
He has over ten years experience in the financial and investment sector, having held advisor positions with life insurance and banking firms. He was a compliance manager for advisors, as well as managing bank branches. His education includes his designation as a Certified Financial Planner professional and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree from Laurentian University of Sudbury. Also, he is an Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers since 2002.
Kelly’s community service work in various locations includes and has included Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Easter Seals, MS society, Junior Achievement, Family and Children Services Board, United Way, and the Hospital foundation of Sturgeon Falls.

Clark Peddle is a lawyer who practices primarily commercial, real estate and estate law. He has his main office in Welland and a branch office in St. Catharines.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Memorial University, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters of Arts degree from Brock University. Clark is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Welland County Law Association.
Clark has lived in Welland for over a decade where he is happily married to Christine (to a teacher of the blind) and has two girls, Avalon aged 6 and Camille aged 5
April Robert has been employed by RBC since 1986, accepting her first managerial position in 2001.
April and David have two children Eric, 10, and Sarah, 9. David is a chiropractor in private practice.
April is actively involved in her children's activities including hockey, soccer and dance. She enjoys volleyball, walking and golf.
Christopher J. Steele began his career in the financial planning field in 1993. In 1994 he started working with Gerry Bujold Insurance Agency as an associate broker to assist Gerry Bujold and Dolorese Wright with their growing financial/retirement planning business. In 1999, Chris became a partner with the firm focusing his attention on Retirement and Estate Planning.
Chris is currently enrolled, and halfway through, the Certified Financial Planning (CFP) course. This course, along with others throughout the years, has given him a solid base for his planning practice. However, "Most of what I have learned through the years has come from working alongside Gerry and Dolorese; as experience is a much more thorough teacher".
Chris is fully licensed in Life Insurance, Disability Insurance and Mutual Funds. He is the branch manager for the Welland office of Interglobe Finanacial Services Corp. which is the dealership for the mutual funds provided through his office.
