Photo of Peter AllenPeter Allen - As a relative newcomer to Niagara - we moved to Vineland in 2001, it represented somewhat of a homecoming, settling where we came to visit family for years as youngsters. To borrow that quote from television’s “WKRP in Cincinnati … town to town up and down the dial” and it’s very true in my case - the journeyman life of this broadcaster has seen stops in Hamilton, Cobourg, Kitchener (x 2), Cambridge and Collingwood.

"In all of those markets, I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to get involved in the community in some shape or form as I do think the onus is on us to do what we can to improve the quality of life in our tiny corner of the world."

Whether its The Kinsmen Clubs of Preston and Collingwood, the Terry Fox Run or serving as The President of The Collingwood Chamber of Commerce, every experience has been richly rewarding in its own way.

Arriving at GIANTFM two years ago has allowed me to get to know and work with many of the business and community groups in this area. I look forward to working with the hospital foundation and doing what I can to assist in the foundation reaching its goals and objectives.

She chose Niagara College to continue her education and shortly after graduating with a Business Administration degree, began a career with Canadian Tire Financial Services. She finds this aspect to be both fulfilling and rewarding and believes it is important to give her time and efforts to the community she has been fortunate to work in and live.

During down time, Lynn enjoys biking, long walks with her dog and all forms of motorsports.

Lynn's involvement with the Welland Hospital Foundation offers her the opportunity to share her knowledge and experience, and to contribute and support an organization that is so wide reaching to many lives in the community.
