Intensive Care Units are located at Greater Niagara General, St. Catharines General and Welland Hospital Sites and include telemetry beds and surgical step-down beds. All are centrally monitored with state-of-the-art equipment. Surgical, cardiorespiratory, general medical, respiratory, orthopaedic, medically unstable psychiatric, paediatric and obstetrical patients are monitored and treated through the units. External and internal cardiac support, invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support is available.
