Canadian Cancer Society – Niagara Unit
Getting to Treatment …
Sometimes simply getting to treatment can be a difficult task, especially if you are also dealing with physical or financial challenges or if the treatment centre is far from home.
If you need help getting to your cancer-related care, we can work with you to find the best way to get you there.
For example, a volunteer driver can pick you up and take you to your local hospital or regional cancer centre and offer you a friendly, supportive environment along the way.
If a volunteer driver is not available, or if it's too far to travel using volunteer drivers, then we may be able to help you access other public transportation options.
All of our transportation services are coordinated locally. To find out what's available in your area, contact your local Canadian Cancer Society office: 905-684-6455.
In Grimsby call: 905-945-0247 and in Dunnville call: 905-774-2291. Our office is located at: 509 Glendale Avenue East Niagara-on-the-Lake, On L0S 1J0.
