Niagara Health is one of approximately 200 healthcare agencies in the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant LHIN.

There are 14 Ontario Local Health Integration Networks responsible for planning, integrating and funding healthcare providers, including hospitals, community mental health and addictions agencies, community support services, community health centres, Community Care Access Centres and long-term care homes. Niagara Health is part of the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant LHIN. Our LHIN's geographic area covers 7,000 square kilometres, encompassing Brant, Burlington, Haldimand, Hamilton, Niagara and most of Norfolk.

With approximately 1.4 million people, it is the second-largest LHIN in Ontario in terms of population size. The Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant LHIN is characterized by small rural communities and large urban centres, with a resident population that displays cultural and linguistic diversity. Hamilton and Niagara are designated communities for French language health services.
