Rob has over 40 years of experience in senior positions at The University of Western Ontario, Brock University and York University where he served as the Vice-President Student Affairs until his retirement, In this role Rob led a team of professionals that provided academic and personal support services to enhance the student experience. In retirement he has continued his commitment to promote post-secondary opportunities for students with disabilities.
Rob holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario. He has served on the Boards of Governors and Academic Senates of four universities as well as on the executive committees of several provincial, national and international education associations. Rob has a comprehensive understanding of governance and financial management in the non-profit sector, government relations, fund raising, complex funding models, strategic planning as well as the monitoring of measurable performance standards. Rob continues to maintain a consulting practice engaging with colleges, universities, government agencies, and the private sector. He and his wife live in Fonthill.
