Urgent Care Information Sessions in Lake Erie Communities

Posted Jun 4th, 2009

This year, the Niagara Health System is converting the ER Departments to Urgent Care Centres at Port Colborne Site (targeting early July/09) and Douglas Memorial Site (targeting late September/09). These Urgent Care Centres will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Naturally, there are many questions about the transition from Emergency to Urgent Care in these Lake Erie communities and several Public Info Sessions have been arranged. Hear from clinical leaders on the difference between Emergency and Urgent Care, the hospital-based services available, what changes mean for residents and more. There will be a question and answer period and hand-outs will be available. Free admission and parking at all sessions.
