Posted Sep 23rd, 2010

NIAGARA, ON: The Urgent Care Centre at 155 Ontario Street, St. Catharines remains open to treat patients on September 25, 2010 through the duration of the Grape and Wine Grand Parade. The centre is located near the Grand Parade route and is across the street from Montebello Park.

Members of the public seeking medical care and treatment at the Urgent Care centre on Saturday, September 25th will be able to access the centre by traveling to the Ontario Street and Welland Avenue intersection.

Uniformed Niagara Regional Police officers will be stationed at the Welland Avenue and Ontario Street barricade. Upon arrival at the intersection barricade, members of the public seeking medical care should advise the officers so they can be permitted through the barricade and proceed to the Urgent Care Centre.

“We sincerely appreciate the support and cooperation of the Niagara Regional Police and the parade organizers who have worked hand in hand with the hospital to ensure patients who need care during Saturday’s Grand Parade can access our Ontario Street Urgent Care Centre”
