Media invited to tour new Emergency Department

Posted May 22nd, 2012

Members of the media are invited to attend a tour of our future Emergency Department that will serve residents of St. Catharines, Thorold, Niagara-on-the-Lake and surrounding area when our new health complex and Walker Family Cancer Centre opens to provide patient care in the Spring of 2013.

With 187 days left in the construction schedule, the building is looking more like a hospital with each day that passes and is on budget and on schedule at over 90% completion. The design of this world-class facility took the strengths of local knowledge from our clinicians and global expertise of our architects to create a building that is focused on the patient experience and outcome.
