Niagara Health (NHS) is currently advertising to fill two vacancies on our Board of Directors.
NHS is seeking Directors who have demonstrated leadership and experience governing a high-quality organization. You will join a group of dedicated and diverse volunteers who act in the best interests of our patients and the communities we serve, and have a commitment to the NHS Vision, Mission and Values.
The Board is seeking candidates with knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Quality and patient safety;
- Finance, with a finance or Chartered Professional Accountant designation required;
- Legal and/or risk management;
- Engineering and/or construction.
In addition, the Board is seeking individuals who have substantial governance experience and an understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Board and a Director.
