A special message from our President Lynn Guerriero.
From donations of masks, gloves and other healthcare supplies, to food and coffee, to beautiful words of encouragement, it has been remarkable to see the support the community has shown the Niagara Health team during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It has been inspiring to witness the thoughtfulness and generosity of our community – both within Niagara Health and the larger Niagara community,” says Niagara Health President Lynn Guerriero. “We are seeing how a challenging time brings out the best in people. So many businesses and organizations have donated items to Niagara Health and we have received many messages of support from our community, thanking our team for going above and beyond 24/7 to ensure our patients receive safe, quality care.”
A special thank you to everyone who has made a donation or shown their support in other ways. Here’s a list of some of the businesses and community and healthcare organizations who have made donations:
- E.S. Fox Ltd.
- Niagara Falls Community Health Centre
- Niagara Medical Group Family Health Team
- Tim Hortons
- Niagara Falls Rotary Club
- Zappi’s Pizza
- Joe Feta’s
We know we may be missing some because there have been so many, but please know that we are grateful and appreciate your acts of kindness.
“Your support of our team is truly heartwarming,” says Ms. Guerriero. “Something else you can do for us is make sure you are staying home, practicing physical distancing and washing your hands often. Thank you, Niagara, and please stay safe."
