Our team members continue to aggressively plan so that we are prepared at the local level to begin administering the COVID-19 vaccine in Niagara. As part of these preparations, you will notice that a temporary structure for the Niagara Health vaccination clinic is being built next to the Walker Family Cancer Centre at the St. Catharines Site.
Workers in long-term care and retirement home facilities and essential caregivers will be the first priority groups to receive the vaccine as per the prioritization framework developed by the Province of Ontario. The first clinic will not be open to the general public and will operate by appointment only.
