COVID-19 outbreaks declared on Unit 3B at St. Catharines Site and Extended Care Unit at Welland Site

An outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared on Unit 3B at the St. Catharines Site as the result of two healthcare associated cases. The outbreak was declared on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021. Our infection prevention and control measures are in place to minimize the spread of the virus and maintain a safe environment.

Earlier today, an outbreak of COVID-19 was declared at our long-term care home at the Welland Site. This outbreak was declared following two healthcare associated cases. We are taking all necessary steps to maintain a safe environment for the residents and staff.

We are working diligently to bring a safe end to these outbreaks as quickly as possible.
