Niagara Health President and CEO Lynn Guerriero was recently appointed as a Board Member to Niagara College’s Board of Governors.
With over 30 years of healthcare leadership, management and clinical expertise across various healthcare provider settings, Guerriero brings invaluable expertise to the Niagara College Board of Governors.
Guerriero has held senior leadership roles at Cancer Care Ontario and prior to joining Niagara Health was Assistant Deputy Minister for the OHIP Division of the Ontario Ministry of Health. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Western University and a Master of Health Sciences degree in Health Administration from the University of Toronto.
In 2023, Guerriero also received an honorary diploma in Health Studies from Niagara College, underscoring Niagara Health’s dedication to fostering educational opportunities in the community.
Niagara Health has a strong partnership with Niagara College to provide training and work experience for future health professionals. Our academic partnerships help to provide students with practical education opportunities, a key component of Niagara Health’s mandate and belief that the organization must be a leader in training and educating the healthcare workers of tomorrow.
In her new role, Guerriero will join the College’s committed group of volunteer Governors through the 2024-25 academic year, further enhancing our collaboration to prepare the future leaders in healthcare.
