There is an exciting opportunity for local vendors to become part of Niagara’s newest state-of-the-art healthcare facility.
Niagara Health will soon be seeking vendors to operate the retail spaces within the South Niagara Hospital. There will be four retail spaces available for a variety of different retailers, such as a pharmacy or café. In an effort to support community businesses, NH is looking for a local vendor to operate the café space.
Following feedback from staff and the community, a preference was identified for a locally owned and operated vendor to bring a unique and community-minded approach to a café space at the new hospital. This space would be a daily go-to spot for patients, visitors and staff, offering a welcoming environment and quality refreshments that complement the hospital’s culture of care and connection.
"We heard from our staff and community that they value local flavour and connection. We’re excited to partner with a local vendor who can bring that vision to life."

The Request for Proposals (RFP) for the retail spaces is anticipated to be released in December 2025. Information is available on our website for interested vendors and community members wanting to learn more about the opportunity.
