Dr. Stephanie Phillips

Dr. Stephanie Phillips is Niagara Health’s Deputy Chief of Staff.

In her role, Dr. Phillips assists Dr. Kevin Chan, Executive Vice-President, Medical, and Chief of Staff on strategic priorities impacting physicians, ensuring Niagara Health excels at providing safe, high-quality care. 

Dr. Phillips is a respected general surgeon, who has been with Niagara Health since 2009. She has served in a variety of leadership roles. She currently serves as the organization’s first Ambulatory Physician Lead, focused on modernizing existing outpatient services in preparation for the new South Niagara Hospital's opening.

Dr. Phillips has also been the Surgical Site Lead at the Marotta Family Hospital and Director of the General Surgery Residency Program in Niagara.

She graduated with her medical degree from McMaster University and has been in surgical practice since 2009.
