Pulmonary Function Studies

This outpatient lab analyzes lung function to assist in the diagnosis of respiratory disorders.

Pulmonary function studies are conducted using breathing tests such as spirometry, methacholine challenges, lung diffusion, skin allergy testing and arterial blood gas testing. Pulmonary function labs can be found at our Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Welland sites.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program

This multi-week outpatient program is made up of exercise and education. It assists patients with improving their quality of life, fitness level and reduces shortness of breath. Located at the St. Catharines Site. 905-378-4647 x46295

Asthma Clinics

Adult Asthma Clinic: This outpatient clinic takes patients by referral and is staffed by a certified asthma educator to help individuals gain and maintain control of their asthma through appropriate use of medications and by identifying and learning to avoid asthma triggers.

Follow-up appointments are available as necessary, as well as specialist appointments. Located at the St. Catharines Site. 905-378-4647 x46502

New and expanded Pediatric Asthma Clinics: Patients will be seen by a certified Asthma Educator (Respiratory Therapist) and a Pediatrician. The team provides consultation, breathing tests and asthma education. Located at the St. Catharines Site.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) & Asthma Clinic: Patients meet with a respirologist and respiratory therapist to conduct testing and assessment, medication review and education for COPD and asthma. Located at the Fort Erie Site. 905-378-4647 x50220
