Shelley Tapp is the Vice-President, Finance and Corporate Services and Board Secretary of the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, a federal government Pan-Canadian Health Organization.  Under her leadership, she oversees strategic financial, operational, infrastructure management and effective board governance to support the organization's federal government mandate and the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control.

A highly accomplished public service leader with over 30 years of experience in provincial and municipal governments, Shelley has held senior roles in the Ontario Public Service, including Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, and the Ministry of Transportation and the Chief Administrative Officer for the Ministries of Transportation and Infrastructure.

She is known for building strong cross-sector relationships and advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and reconciliation. Her expertise spans financial and strategic planning, controllership, program delivery, organizational development, transformational change and navigating complex government structures.

Shelley holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, is a graduate of the Queen’s Executive Development Program and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
