Niagara Health’s Surgical Program performs approximately 40,000 procedures every year at the Greater Niagara General, St. Catharines and Welland Sites combined.

The surgical program works collaboratively with the Ontario Wait Time Strategy to help improve access to timely care, such as: approximately 1,100 joint replacements and more than 5,000 cataract procedures every year.
