Niagara Health is recognizing 10 individuals and four teams who demonstrate extraordinary caring during its 16th annual Interprofessional Practice Awards.
“We are honoured to work alongside exemplary healthcare professionals who bring unyielding dedication and passion to everything they do to provide patients and families with safe, high-quality healthcare,” says Heather Paterson, Interim Executive Vice-President Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Executive. “Our award winners include healthcare professionals across all disciplines working together and learning from each other to improve patient experiences and outcomes. We are so proud to recognize all they have accomplished.”
The Interprofessional Practice Awards were established to recognize and celebrate leadership, collaboration and professional excellence at Niagara Health.
“Our nominees and award winners represent the kind of impact you can have when you work together caring for patients while in hospital, as well as advocating to have seamless transitions home afterward,” says Zeau Ismail, Niagara Health’s Director of Interprofessional Practice, Ethics and Research. “Through another challenging year underscored by the pandemic, they have shown incredible creativity, passion and collaborative spirit to provide the highest standard of care.”
