Niagara Health is seeing record numbers of walk-ins for COVID-19 testing at its three assessment centres as Niagara enters Stage 3 of the province’s Recovery Framework.

Nous continuons à lever les restrictions concernant les visites et organisons maintenant des visites à l’intérieur pour les résidents et leurs proches à l’Unité de soins prolongés, à Welland; ces visites seront permises dès le mercredi 22 juillet. De plus, les résidents pourront recevoir deux personnes à la fois, à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur.
Les personnes qui n’ont pas de rendez-vous doivent maintenant arriver aux centres d’évaluation COVID-19 au plus tard à 16 h
Les trois centres d’évaluation COVID-19 dans la région de Niagara – soit ceux à St. Catharines, à Niagara Falls et à Welland – accepteront dorénavant les patients sans rendez-vous jusqu’à 16 h au plus tard (plutôt que jusqu’à 16 h 30) afin de pouvoir inscrire ces derniers et procéder au test de dépistage en temps opportun.

Niagara Ontario Health Team - Équipe Santé Ontario Niagara Receives Approval
On July 23, 2020, the Minister of Health and Deputy Premier, Honourable Christine Elliott, announced that Niagara has received approval to move forward as an approved Ontario Health Team. Niagara Health is one of 45 partners who comprise the Niagara Ontario Health Team - Équipe Santé Ontario Niagara (NOHT-ESON).

Niagara’s three Assessment Centres - in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland – are changing their walk-in hours from 4:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
