Simon Akinsulie

Executive Vice-President, Practice, Clinical Support and Chief Nursing Executive;

Simon Akinsulie is the Executive Vice-President, Practice, Clinical Support and Chief Nursing Executive at Niagara Health.

As a health-care leader with over 20 years of progressive leadership experience across a number of Ontario hospitals, Simon has in-depth experience across multiple clinical portfolios. In his role, Simon oversees Interprofessional Practice, Education, Nursing Practice, Pharmacy and Diagnostics, Laboratory and Pathology, and Infection Control at Niagara Health.

Simon received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Ottawa. He has also completed the EXTRA Fellowship Program from Healthcare Excellence Canada, a Certificate in Nursing Informatics and is also a Certified Health Executive (CHE) with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
