The St. Catharines Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 20-bed unit that is designated as a level 2C facility, taking care of newborns 30 weeks and above.
We are the only NICU in the Niagara region, but we serve a large population in our surrounding areas. We provide specialized care for newborns requiring intensive care for a large range of health conditions. We strive to promote high quality family-centred care, and have a large multidisciplinary team of highly specialized and skilled staff. Our team works best when we work together with you.
