Marty Robbins was encouraged by his mother to become a nurse practitioner and supported in his studies by the Niagara Health Bursary Program as he works toward that goal.
Ruth Peters had big plans to travel the world when she went into nursing in 1985. She found her place and an impactful career at Niagara Health.
The Clinical Scholar Coaching Program is a provincially funded nurse mentorship program that connects new nurses with experienced colleagues to help them become expert practitioners.

Niagara Health has a trio of nurse practitioners dedicated to helping older adults in the Emergency Department and getting them back on track to living life to the fullest.
“I wanted to get more involved,” says Nithu Thonichalil. “I wanted to learn the surgical thought process of a surgeon” in the Operating Room.
