Niagara Health Whistleblower Policy

Niagara Health is pleased to advise that the corporate Whistleblower Policy has recently been updated.

Accreditation Canada and industry best practice standards indicate that organizations should have such a policy in place to help encourage and enable the reporting of potential wrongdoings related to ethical behaviour and business conduct. Niagara Health is committed to practices that facilitate a culture where individuals can report information confidentially without fear of reprisal or retaliation.

Reports for potential wrongdoings can be made confidentially in writing using the new Confidential Whistleblower Reporting System form; in person; via email at whistleblower@niagarahealth.on.ca; or by calling the confidential Whistleblower Hotline at 905-378-4647 ext. 44660.

Take time to familiarize yourself with the Whistleblower Policy and Procedure as well as the definitions of wrongdoings.
