In preparation for the South Niagara Hospital Project’s Request for Qualifications (RFQ) release, scheduled for the spring of 2021, Niagara Health in partnership with Infrastructure Ontario are hosting an online information session.
Niagara Health's South Niagara Project has reached another major milestone with the selection of Stantec Architecture Ltd. as the successful proponent to the Planning, Design and Conformance (PDC) Request for Proposals.
Niagara Health is asking for feedback and creativity to help develop the Project Statement for the South Niagara hospital.
Niagara Health has recently registered the South Niagara Project with the International WELL® Building Institute to work towards becoming WELL® v2 certified. If successful, and once the South Niagara hospital is open, the South Niagara Project will be the first WELL® certified healthcare facility in Canada.
In November 2019, the South Niagara Project team in partnership with Infrastructure Ontario, were on-time to release the PDC (Planning, Design and Conformance) RFP (Request for Proposal).
In preparation for the new South Niagara Hospital, we have had a natural heritage assessment completed on the property and were cleared for next steps.

The project team has submitted their Stage 2 revised proposal to the provincial Ministry of Health.
