The outbreak was called after one patient and one staff member tested positive for COVID-19. Both cases are healthcare-associated.

One staff member has tested positive for COVID-19 following routine surveillance, which meets provincial guidelines to call an outbreak in a long-term care setting. This is a community-acquired case. The staff member is isolating at home and contact tracing has taken place.
In addition to wearing a mask, we ask visitors to clean their hands often and practice physical distancing to keep everyone safe.

Contact tracing is underway. A total of 15 patients and one healthcare worker have tested positive for COVID-19 as part of this outbreak.
